    I sold my home Dec. 18, 2006. I paid cash for a house with my equity the same month. I don’t like the house and want to put it on the market. I don’t think I will get out of it what I put into it; it is a real lemon. I am having a devil of a time getting insurance on it (long story). If I sell it before Dec. 18, 2008, will I have to pay Capital Gains on what I get out of it? If I do not get out of it what I paid for it, can I claim that as a loss? By the way, I am going to be looking for horse property up your way after the sale. My Dr. is Dr. Goff in Yucca Valley. I swear by him if you need a chiropractor!
